West Germany Scenario as Axis (too easy?)

I tried a single scenario this morning. West Germany with the Axis on normal setting. The scenario starts with the allies initiative. I saw their planes destroying my tanks, arty and more, not a nice sight. When the slaughter was finally over I found it strange to see units killed/destroyed that I never met and never had a chance to use. I didn't like the allied air force. First thing I did was buy three more ME 262A because they have a rating of 30 against planes and no allied plane can beat them in a dogfight. While the tanks where battling each other down below I destroyed the complete Allied air force in 5-6 turns. My planes then discovered that all the Southern towns where undefended. I put some Wehrmacht in car and drove out to Strasbourg which was taken without resistance. I won the battle of Frankfurt with support of some Stukas so the road was open to Mannheim. The scenario gives you two paratroopers and they where at the same time on their way to capture Saarbrucken, Metz and Luxembourg all undefended. The AI only kept building M26 Jackson tank destroyers at Cologne but those where not able to make a sufficient hole in the frontline near Wesel and Duisburg, defended buy the Axis Tigers, Panthers and more. I finished the scenario in 10 turns out of 30 with almost 1800 experience left.

Afterthoughts..

Considering I'm not the worlds best Panzer General (pun intended) I think something is wrong and flawed.

-I think I shouldn't be able to build as much ME 262A's as I did. And I could even have bought more.
-I noticed that the AI kept building M26 tank destroyers, at a certain moment is was almost all it used, is there a M26 factory at Cologne?
-I think their should be a limit to the kind of units you can build in some reasonable combined arms ratio kind of way.
-A whole landscape of totally undefended cities should not occur, should it?
-I noticed a really good mountain climbing M26 that went up a mountain and then did 9 damage to a Hertzer defending the countryside, is that OK?

Anyway, it was a lot of fun, I feel really well and very clever after winning so fast, I'm a kick ass General!

This is the picture of the M26 climbing a mountain and in the same turn almost killing of my fresh Herzer.
I think I was surprised that this was at all possible. Maybe a tank unit climbing a mountain shouldn't be able
to shoot in the same turn
