Can't Upgrade

Hi,
Recently got a new laptop and I installed BA without any problems. Once I launch the game and answer Yes to the popup asking if I want to upgrade, the game exits and no upgrade takes place.
I'm running windows 7 and I already added both BA.exe and updater.exe to my firewall program.

Have you only installed the original installer EXE? I'm not sure why it would fail to even launch the updater - is it installed in the default folder on your machine?
Is it possible that you have another (e.g. anti virus) app which is preventing the updater from running?

Thanks for your quick reply Pip.
Not sure I follow. I installed BA from original exe I downloaded when I bought the game. The updated isn't launching, I'm just getting the popup asking if I want to upgrade.
As far as I know, there are no additional firewalls, anti virus, etc. I haven't had any issues with other programs

What is the installation folder you chose?

What version do you currently have. It has been remastered a number of times. If you have problems with the updater you could try downloading the stand alone patch installer from the downloads section.

Downloaded the installer above and was able to update to latest version. Thanks
