First Impression

Initial impression is positive. Layout is workable and I could launch and start playing pretty much straight away. Map and units look good, but that is as far as I got before problems started appearing.

After a few minutes and turns I begun to have problems clicking on any of the buttons to end turn, replacements etc. It was if the game had locked up, however I could select and deselect units and move them. The behavour was as though all my clicks were queued and then released. Suddenly the end turn box came up (stating I had units unmoved).

I quit the game and then restarted and the same behaviour was present.

My machine XP SP3, Intel Core 2 Quad @2.66GHz 4GB Ram.

I'm going to try on some other machines and see if the problem appears.

I installed on another XP SP3 (laptop) and the game works fine.

Just to make sure, you were using the last beta (version 0.96) when you observed the problem with buttons?

Any differences you can remember between the two PCs you use? Maybe your primary PC uses two monitors? Are the settings of the TaskBar (like autohide etc.) the same on both systems?

I've been able to duplicate the problem by loading the saved game. I'll see if a new game creates the issue.

The machine that displays the problem does have two monitors and autohide taskbar enabled. I'll see if I can duplicate the problem on the working one.

One more question. When you start the game, does it fully occupy one of the monitors you have ("fullscreen mode"), or does it have window borders around it ("window mode")?

It is in fullscreen mode.

It appears to be a problem with process asghost (HP credential manager). If I terminate this process, the buttons work fine. Once it is restarted problem appears. The issue with bottons happens when you scroll the map. So far I have only tried the Polish scenario.
