First Impression

Hi,

Here is my first impressions and my two cents;

On the bad side:

- As a veteran of PZGen, I miss the look and feel of the MAPS that was painted in 2D in PZGen, this need to be worked. Maps look all the same
- When beginning a turn, we should be redirected to our last move, not at the bottom of the Map, this is annoying.
- We are not brought to the next scenario after a win, we are returning to the Menu which is annoying, no sense of continuity
- No briefing beginning or at the end of a scenario, that hurts the look and feel of this game, I miss the brilliant briefing from PzGen with nice clips and voice of the narrators
- The Scenario Menu look kind of ' cheap' and we shouldn't have access to all the Scenario unless we haven previously completed the scenario
- There should be an option like in PZGen to update to Elite the units that carried on from a winning scenario
- I do not like the music, PzGen was more military feel

On the bright side:

- Nice opening Menu, the rest of the game should have been worked the same as for the look and feel of the rendering of Maps, units
- Mechanics of the game are not bad, although the right click mouse to move and attack is annoying
- Units are render in a nice way

My rating compare to Panzer General II is 6/10, with the technology that we have today u guys should be able to do much better than this, u will have to work a bit harder but overall if u succeed to bring something better than the original or even equal to the original, I am a buyer.

Thanks - one thing to bear in mind is the single missions have no briefing, no experience carry over etc. You need to play the campaign to see all those features you are looking for.
