We know that many of you have researched individual armies and that there is a wealth of knowledge amongst you.

To that end if any of you have any interesting facts or information about your favourite army that might be suitable for inclusion on the army list notes lets hear about it.

If you can also quote any source for the info so much the better. It might be information about their generals, interesting battles or any other snippet of information that you feel is interesting. I cannot promise anything but you might just see your notes in print

Not really a suggestion for notes, I'm afraid, but a question about the Ancient British list I got from Richard a while ago:

Ancient Briritsh Chariots are Light Chariot/Superior/Undrilled/-/-/Light Spear/-.

Julius Caesar, in Commentarii de Bello Civili, 4.33 says:

"Their mode of fighting with their chariots is this: firstly, they drive about in all directions and throw their weapons and generally break the ranks of the enemy with the very dread of their horses and the noise of their wheels..." (my italics).

Is this a case for them having Javelin as a shooting POA?

I know this was raised on the list a devlopers forums about a month ago.

Can't recall if any conclusion was reached but there were arguments for an against as you might guess. On the Caesar quote, however, I'd note that it isn't really the missiles that cause problems 8)

So a shooting POA for acoustic weapons such as "terrifying horses and noisy wheels" ?
