Multiplayer wont work

Hi
I have a problem, I brought a laptop and decided to put FOG, ROR and LT on it, it worked fine for 5 days on all features including multiplayer. Then for some reason I could not get on the multiplayer anymore, what can I do so I can use it again. PS, I can still get on it on my PC .

Are you at verson 1.5.4 on your laptop? You need to upgrade to that for multi-player.

When you say you cant get on - what is the issue?
You can't find the server? Your password fails?

Hi
What happens is I click on multiplayer, Please wait launching client comes up and it just stays on that! Don’t get to the password stage!

This was happening to me as well about 5 hours ago, just hung up when launching MP, i did notice the website was having some issues as well around that time.....website would time out etc when trying to login in....

I had that problem too... the consequence was that all my unread marks were lost, so now I have to look at the time of all recent posts to determine what I haven't read

We're looking to upgrade all the servers in the near future which wil be a temporary pain but shoudl result in improved performance on all areas. Please bear with us as we try and resolve the issues.

OK, lets hope it sorts out my laptop problem, its a good job I can still play on my PC. How long do you think it will be before things are sorted.

I don't know if my problems are related but having reinstalled windows xp on my PC and got FoG working again for MP games I then installed 1.5.4 and now cannot play. It thinks I'm back at 1.1.1 according to the message I'm getting.

No I am running windows 7, it worked perfectly to start with for 5 days!

I have managed to get it working; I uninstalled FOG, ROR & LT. Then reinstalled them all getting all the updates, think there were 5 of them,one of which took 30mins. That didn’t happen the first time I installed them, anyway all working good now. Hope my experience will help others with the same problem!
