Important news to all testers

I just want to inform you that we've sent the release version to Slitherine both for the MAC and PC. Iain is now working on making an installer and the only work remaining we have now is to test the installer before he makes it public.

This means that we've therefore stopped fixing bugs etc. for the release. Everything you find will be recorded and collected so we can release fixes in patches AFTER release. We don't want to release patches often so it may take awhile before bugfixes will be fixes unless we see game hang problems that don't have a workaround.

So this means that soon you can download the official GS v2.00 installer from Slitherine's WEB site and play against others than just beta testers. :)

For those matrix Games Users - will we have a manual install available?

Doesn't the GS installer work with the Matrix version?

I didn't realize that. I'll mention this to Iain. I'm sure there won't be a problem hosting the raw files themselves. With respect to the beta testers, the file set I provided to Iain for him to build the installer for the PC can be downloaded from the links below.

GS v2.00 files. (169-MB)

Full Manual. (65-MB, 439-pages)

Starters Manual. (3-MB, 16-pages)

Thanks! Oh, by the way, I think you may want to make this available (with instructions) for the general public when the installer comes out..
