Just a quick suggestions for improving user-friendliness:

Just like any enthusiastic FoG player, I would like to get the game set-up process to be over as soon as possible and get my teeth into the game.

While placing the terrain and referring to the Terrain Placement table on the second-to-last page of the rulebook, I think this table could be more user-friendly if the "Dice Roll" and the "Placement" notes could be organised so that the dice roll numbers and corresponding notes increase down one column and then down the next column instead of left to right and then down one line and across then left to right again, etc.

The more games you have the less you need the table for and the less time it takes to have the terrain set up done.
