there is good new and bad news. The bad news is we are not on track to release Panzer Corps in May as planned. The good news is that this is because we're adding more polish and some additional cool content and even more missions. We decided the game is looking so good we need to put that extra bit of time and effort in to making it a real hit.

We apologise for the delay and hope you can understand and be patient!

As a beta tester, i can say that you guys are on the right track, and with some more polish and additional content, I am sure it will be awesome. i think it was a good decision

I'm glad to hear it. I understand and respect a decision to delay a release for polish; I've seen enough times the opposite situation and it's not pretty.

By the way, I wanted to ask if there were any plans for African scenarios. I haven't heard that theatre of combat mentioned yet anywhere.

LOL, yes. Just like when Nappy delayed Waterloo for a few extra hours to get his artillery in place... then look what happened.

One thing that bothered me about those companies that push so hard for early releases. The release comes early, but the patches never did

There's nothing worse than a broken game and hoping patches will work.

Look at HOI 3.

Broken. They say they fixed some of it if you buy the Semper fi game.

is it possible to get more new screenshots or even a gamelpay-video in meantime ?

We're still doing quite a lot of extra work on the graphics at the moment, after that we will certainly post some new screenshots and probably some videos as well.

So do it the day before release - no heads up. Why don't you push it back even further and make it a solid release?

Consider yourself lucky guys. To skip the time, I just ordered the PC-Version auf Commander:E@W . I am very intereseted in the additional content.

I'll be honest - we are so busy working on things we rarely have time to check thigns like the release date on the site. They are alway estimates. There is no guarantee we'll hit this new date but we're doing everything we can to do it. Having a release date way in the future is also not much use. It is our best estimate at this point. Thats all we can do!

I know its frustrating but the beta testers can tell you how much the game has improved in just the last 2 weeks and how it was worth the wait.
