fog-r and reenactment; 25mm event for 2012?

Just back from Elvaston- 4 of us played fog-r amidst the 600 or so ecw reenactors. What a wonderful weekend.Weather ace, wargame during the day, beer tent with band at night. Oh and women in period custom to look at too. (not just fat old men round a pub table talking 6-1s) And then two of us took part in the reenactment. What a great perspective . One day pushing toy soldiers and the next doing it in almost real life. I would thoroughly recommend trying it. The Sealed Knot made us extremely welcome too. So much so that we are considering putting on a proper gaming weekend next year alongside a major reenactment. The plan would be to do a 25mm bash over 1 1/2 or 2 days with the option of joining in the reenactment as a musketeer or pikeman. Maybe the May bank holiday again . We hope to get things sorted as soon as we know dates for next years SK events so if you think it would be of interest then do let me know or keep tabs here
