Supply vs reinforcement oddity

I've brought this up before, but going to re-iterate because it's important.

I just can't understand how a simple air-unit adjacant to a unit's hex immediately blocks ALL supply to that unit.

And yet, that unit is not only still able to take on re-inforcements, but you get free supply when you take on those re-inforcements.

This is forcing me to keep my units under-strength, just so I can get around this no-supply limitation by taking on a reinforcement instead, lol.

The entire situation just makes no sense. How could you not get supply, but sneak in entire re-inforcements + supply at the same time?

If your enemy is smart enough to catch every drop of fuel and bullet that makes its way past the lines, how the hell do they miss that, AND a tone of replaceable parts sneaking through together?

Well I would like to see part of this fixed.
While I don't agree with the supply blockage, I can accept it for now.

The part that needs to be fixed is Airplanes blocking supply. that should only be allowed in the current hex.

An airplane blocking adjacent hexes is non-sense. It screws with the game. In Multiplayer all you have to do is is park your planes next to the enemy and half his army can not get supply. Just plane silly. In single player, its an exploit. You can easily block the supply of the AI.

This just happened to me in my last scenario.

I parked a Tiger next to one of my cities where it ran out of fuel. Unfortunately, the AI (who is impossible to kill his air with our nerfed-AA patch) decided to just keep level bombing that city. Now.. since he has a level bomber adjacant to my Tiger each turn, I can NOT even refuel. So my Tiger was literally stuck there until the end of the game, useless.

I really can't stand this horrible supply problem. Why is it so backwards? There's another bug too where re-supplying only gives half the ammunition. Please don't tell me this is also game-design?
