The long anticipated and long delayed
battle report series from Usk 2011 is now up here on the site in full frilly-collared glory. Marvel as Hugenots take on one lot of Swedes and three very different lots of British in the new era of Renaissance warfare. Full Hannibal-tastic analysis, as well as the odd genuinely useful instructional video from Garibaldi and von Half-Wittgenstein.

Thoroughly enjoyable as always.
I would second the comment about how nice to see older figures re-appearing on the tabletop. I have almost finished updating my late 1980's Italian Wars French to FOGR using Mikes Models still available from Essex and Tabletop figures still obtainable from Alternative armies. Never expected to see either of them in production after twenty years.

Hey Tim
I hope the gestation period of your Devizes reports won't be quite as long! The Oxford and Usk ones are just inspiring.

As always, the Madaxeman's AARs are entertaining and
useful. The descriptions somewhat counter the conventional wisdom that earlier armies are not viable against later armies.
At least, older armies with a significant core of Switzers, anyway . . .
