I extracted ap but when I double-click on the shortcut icon, the "...half a world away..." starts up...but if I "Esc" the game starts to load but then stops and I'm back at the desktop screen.

Thanks. SOMETHING BIG that I forgot to mention about this beta release.

You need to delete the settings.txt file in your My Documents folder before starting up GSv2.00ap.

That is, delete the file \My Documents\CEAW Grand Strategy\settings.txt
