This post I made over in the Commander Europe at War forum got me thinking that it would be really nice to have a commando expansion pack. One day I would like to try my hand at building a scenario, and maybe even tackle something like this. However; at the moment, I'm tied up with the CEaW GSv2.00 beta; but I still manage to play two single-player BA games and six or seven BA multi-player turns a week.

In the case of the Norwegian commando raids it would be fun to a have scenario or two centered around capturing merchant ships, with some of the victory points actually on ships.

Anyway, great job and I'm really enjoying BA. I'm not that great though I have managed to hold my own in MP against another opponent who's also new to BA.

Commando raids would make nice scenarios .... Looking at old board games there's one that comes to mind ;

Raid on St Nazaire ... This solitaire wargame simulates the March 28, 1942, British raid on the Nazi-occupied French port of St. Nazaire.

I have this old gem and converting it into a BA version wouldn't be too much trouble, just time comsuming.

Merr wait until you get the bridges and barges with Arnhem to finish that map.

Be an excellent scenario - French commandoes have been made viewtopic.php?t=21231 and there should be stuff in the Arhmen add on that will be very useful.
