Sorry if this is a repeat question but Ive searched and searched and found no answer(I am new at this).

On Death rolls(throw)-Lets say a BG receives 3 hits. Do you roll 3 dice and each must be above 3 so as not to receive any losses(for each hit) or is it One die roll only for all three hits(must be a 4 or more not to receive a loss(and only one loss at most).

Thanks in advance

One die roll only for all three hits(must be a 4* or more not to receive a loss(and only one loss at most).

* but what you actually roll is adjusted by +2 if you win or draw a close combat combat, or are being shot at; +1 for being elephants etc.

p115 is IMO very clear on this. "Roll 1 dice for the battle group..." half way down the page. and then the worked example at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for your quick answer ScrubMiK. Ive read and reread but I guess I was reading more into the rule than was there due to a possibility of a large amount of hits and only one loss.

Well I reread page 115 and it is clear as ice. I remember reading it....I plead dumb for the rules book being so thick and my brain so thin :D thanks again.
