It looks good thus far.
The animations indicating combat are OK, at least it's clear whether a ground or air unit is taking damage. Battles can last a bit longer now, due to the sounds and the animations being loaded, but as most scenarios currently don't feature too many units, the overall extra time spend isn't too significant. Perhaps an animation or some sort of visual pop-up for ambushes could be added. Now the only notification we have is a pause before something starts firing, indicating the defender fires first.
I also like the new interface changes I've seen thus far, although I'm not sure whether that red band below a unit in the deployment panel indicates anything. That is: I know it's supposed to presumably indicate experience, but it doesn't work currently. After Poland, none of my 1 star units show a star there.

Concerning attack sequences and animations, those will be improved a lot very soon. The overall duration will also be much shorter, it currently breaks the flow of the gameplay.

And that red band with the stars in the deployment screen, is it not functional yet?

Indeed. In the future it will show, surprise, unit's experience. But for now it is always blank.

this probably must have been reported, but the fighter-bomber bf110s and the jet-fighter me262s share the same AA values: ~30.
that is kinda insane for the weak bf110s.
by the way, i am impressed. although the game needs much polishing (it is beta, so it is obvious); as a former (& current

) PG fan i find the game really promising!
so keep up the good work, it can simply become a blockbuster!!
that is for now, but i will share my thoughts, ideas, reports as i get deeper in the game.

If that's the case, then I have nothing to say. I agree with this sentiment, and I'll wait for it to be improved before commenting.

Any chance we can get the game to tell us an exact number for experience somewhere in there too?
Somewhere else to show exact unit experience would be nice too, not just that elite replacements button.

I'm thinking about just adding a tooltip telling exact number to all red stripes we have in the game. Or do you think that we need something more than that?

Mouse over red experience 'stripe' and get a pop up that says exact experience number? Works for me.
