Two new expansions announced? Is it true? Also Slitherine merging with Matrix? This merger makes sense.

Yep - we have two new expansions in the works - releasing as soon as they are each ready! Some very cool stuff in both of them.
And we've been a glorious merged partnership for nearly a year now
.
