I've been paging through "Arrows" and "Eternal Empire" and can't locate this one.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Pete

Latin Greeks are in Swords and Scimitars.

On the army builder XSL file, they are called, the Laotin Greeks.

more on them

I have been playing them recently. I am somewhat successful with them as of late;
20 knights and filler really makes a great army if you are lucky.

20 knights? What's your list?

Oh, it is not hard to build:

IC
2 TCs
5 BGs of knights
3 BGs of poor light foot archers
1 BG of poor light foot javelinmen
[fill till you are satisfied]

From there I took an ally. I could go with higher initiative and take the Turkish light horse ally (3 BGs of light horse and 1 BG of superior bow swordsmen cavalry). Or, I could field a Catillan Company (a few drilled Almughuvars are a great terrain holding detachment). Either way, I get to have tons of fun with LOTS of superior, undriled, lancer, swordsmen knights! Recently, I found that I hadn't even been the first to figure out the configuration. Madaxman has done a great job listing a similar assessment on his FoG wiki page.

A buddy of mine has found a way to squeeze in 6 BGs of knights (supposedly 2 are even DRILLED!?!?!) and I'm a little worried that I am going to get slaughtered when he finally brings it to our LGS.

Not hard to build but hard to build well.

They have compulsory cavalry as well.

I took 16 knights with a catalan ally to the IWF and having it again woudl probably take 12 knights and 2 decent Bgs of cav lancers.
more of a threat to enemy cavalry and LH
and less succeptiple to skirmishers chipping away at them.

IMO the catalans are compulsory in this list.
If taking turk allies you are better off as an early/middle hungarian and have th LH in the main list
