I haven't read it all, but it looks good. I've even learnt something with what I've read so far.... Thank you
A question regarding what is written on p29: 'A battle group benefiting from a field fortification receives no other combats.' I assume this should read: 'A battle group benefiting from a field fortification receives no other benefits.'?
p31: 'The loss of a baggage camp is 2 break points.' Is this correct? I thought it was 10% of army BPs or 4 points, whichever is the greater.
p44: Rallying. Doesn't the quality of troops affect this? I always (probably incorrectly) thought that Elites would rally more easily than Superior and so on.

Those are original errors or game changes that have still not been updated in the new manual.
another:
"medium bow shoot at a - poa if they move prior to firing "
false: that was patched out eons ago (although i wouldnt mind at all if it was still part of the game )

Any chance this upgraded Help document will be integrated into the game?

Rallying. Doesn't the quality of troops affect this? I always (probably incorrectly) thought that Elites would rally more easily than Superior and so on.
Troop quality affects re-rolls of the dice, elites re-roll 1's and 2's, superiors re-roll 1's, poor troops re-roll 6's.
These re-rolls apply to both combat die rolls and cohesion tests, so if they attempt to rally and the elites roll a 5 and a 1, they get to re-roll the 1 and hope for a better die score next time out so they have a better chance of passing their rally attempt. Of course if the virtual dice hate you a lot and the second die roll is a 1 also then you are out of luck and I guess they will keep running. It happens on the TT and can happen in the PC game too, perhaps more often than most of us would like...

Hello, I think a great idea to publish this document in different languages, but I find one at fault. What about Spanish? we may not be a great community, but I think it was a mistake that I hope will be remedied soon.

Could someone please post a UNIQUE link to the resource.
One of my pet peeves is folks posting a link and it leads to the index of a site.
I am smiling guys, not mad, but please, a link that takes your DIRECTLY to the page is really a time saver.
And thanks again, Keith and Hexwar folks, for posting the resource. Looking forward to the Vikings coming out soon!

It looks like it has all gone as HexWar are no longer involved in FoG.
I think we may have to wait until NewRoSoft are able to get all the info updated on their version.

The forum administrator should remove this thread. The help file that is the object of the thread no longer exists at the Hex War site.
