Need Help on Email Notifications

I have been playing now for some time and have forgotten how you set the server to notify you by email.

Can someone remind me? A friend of mine (Cats) just bought the game and we are playing but he is not getting notified when turns are ready to play.

I think it may have been a setting in the game or was it a plug-in I installed?

Hi,

You must go on http://www.slitherine.com/my_page.
There you should click on "Edit Info" and after that, on the info page, you have to check "Receive PBEM Notifications:" for yes.

I saw in another thread where they are looking into the problem. I think patience is the key here!

We're having problems with spam filters. We're working on a solution but its goign to take some work to switch it. Until then all we can do is apologise :(

my e-mail address is on yahoo.com and I don't miss any email notifications. Is working fine, at least until now.

I'm trying to change the email address in the profile, but I prefer to use my main one, so hope guys you can fix it as soon as possible. I'm having problem on gmail, I will try with hotmail and let you know if it is the same.

hotmail is not working too.
so @gmail.com and @hotmail.com don't work

I started having this problem 2 weeks ago. I keep hoping I will start getting the notifications once again but so far no luck.

My page notification setting has been checked and is OK.

At the moment I keep having to login to see if any turns have been processed.

Are you aware if this is still a problem or am I the only victim ?

I suspect it's many souls. No emails here in maple-syrup land either.

It is working sporadically now. For instance some of my turns are showing up while others are not. One from CATS did not come through while others did.

I just go up to the server now and look for the turns I have to play.

Another oddity: I posted a challenge but only two were showing up. So I thought that maybe a new limit had been imposed. But lo and behold I had something like five new games today. Another bug in the server?

So .... moral of the story is - if you post a challenge do not go by the list. It may not be showing all of the challenges.
