The Spanish translation is quite good

Just a few mistakes so far:

* In the battle map, when you hover over the turn (change facing) icon, the tool tip reads "turno". It should be "girar".

* Also in the battle map, on the left corner there is usually an objective with the text "mate al menos XX unidades". Instead of "mate", it should be "destruya".

* In the opening pop-up of the force selection screen it's written "... opcionales de un tipo". It should be "... opcionales de un mismo tipo".

* When you quit a battle it says "Objetivo ¡Fallado!". "no alcanzado" would be better than "fallado".

* At the end of the battle, in the losses screen, instead of "enemigo" it should be "enemigas", and instead of "amistoso", "propias"

A few more (note I'm using the 1st April beta, although I think it does not make any difference for the spanish translation):

* In the very first screen that pops up when you start the game (the one where you can pick the screen resolution and the shadow quality), everything is translated to Spanish except the text "Inspired by an original online game concept..."

* Main screen: "quit" has been translated as "abandonar". "Salir" is more usual.

* Force selection screen: the description of the 8th army infantry reads "sus potentes rifles de cerrojo alcanzan rápidas cadencias de tiro". A better wording would be "sus potentes rifles de cerrojo tienen una alta cadencia de tiro"

* Battle: the road terrain is translated to "carreteras", which is plural. "Carretera" (singular) sounds better to me. The same applies to "senderos", which should be "sendero" (although "camino" is a more usual word for describing something that is not a full road)

* Battle: when a unit surrenders the pop up reads "rendido". It should be "rendición"

* Battle: untranslated text: "small target penalty", "move fast penalty", and "target agility penalty". I suggest "penalización por objetivo pequeño", "penalización por movimiento rápido" and "penalización por objetivo ágil", respectively.

* Battle: the last line of the pop up over a targeted enemy infantry unit reads "eficacia12" or some other number. Something is wrong there, perhaps a missing space?

* Battle: text untranslated: "reverse". I suggest "marcha atrás"

* Battle: looking at the text1_SPA file, it seems like the word "derrumbado" has been used to translate "break down". If you're referring to something like an engine problem, the correct translation is "averiado" ("derrumbado" means "fallen apart", like in a demolished building)

* Battle: "retrasado" has been used to translate "bogged down". If you mean that the tank got stuck on some terrain feature, use "atascado" or "bloqueado" ("retrasado" means "delayed")

* MP lobby: text untranslated: "end this game by claiming it is abandoned". It could be roughly translated as "terminar esta partida porque ha sido abandonada"

* Force selection screen: the description of the 2pdr portee talks about an "equipo antiaéreo". It should be "equipo antitanque"

* Unit description: Vickers: "o la cadencia de tiro" -> "o la alta cadencia de tiro"

* Unit description: King Tiger: "es casi impenetrable a los daños" -> "es casi invulnerable a los daños"

* Unit description: M8 Howitzer: "proporciona un apoyo de disparo de respuesta rápida" -> "proporciona fuego de apoyo inmediato"

* Unit description: M18: "el vehículo de oruga" -> "el vehículo con orugas"

* Objectives: "captura todos los puntos de victoria" -> "capture todos los puntos de victoria"

* Objectives: "PV de captura y control" -> "Capturar y mantener PV"

* Battle: "Routed" has been translated as "Derrotado". While not incorrect, it sounds a bit weird. IMHO, "Unidad destruida" (unit destroyed) would be better.

* Options: "Alterar la velocidad a la que se actualiza el modelo del juego": I don't understand this sentence (nor the orginal english one "Alter the speed at which the game model updates"!). What do you mean by "game model"?

Scout units are traslated as "Vehículo de reconocimiento...", that means "Recon vehicle". Must be traslated as "Exploradores estadounidenses / alemanes / británicos".

* Editor (first window): text untranslated: "make this a carryover campaign". I guess a "carryover campaing" is campaign where you keep units from one scenario to the next?. In that case I suggest "conservar unidades entre escenarios" ("keep units from one scenario to the next")

* Editor (first window): text untranslated: "copy of: <none>". I suggest "copia de: <ninguno>"

* Editor (second window): text untranslated: "<start>". I suggest "<empezar>"

* Editor (main window): text untranslated: "dummy** units". No idea what's "dummy" doing here... "Units" should be translated as "unidades"

* Editor (main window): it looks like "casillas" has been used to translate "tiles". While correct, it sounds quite strange. I would recommend changing "casillas" to "tipos de terreno" ("terra types"), but this would require rewriting large chunks of text, so I don't know...

* Editor (main window): the icon with the hammer does not have a tool tip like the others. The window it opens is completely in english:
- "Slith Edger" -> "Slith - Ajustador de bordes"
- "Auto-edges various terrain types" -> "Ajusta automáticamente los bordes de varios tipos de terreno"

I saw that Farmhouse has been translated to spanish sometimes as alquería (typical farmhouse of east of Spain) or cortijo (Very typical farmhouse of south Spain).
I suggest to use a much common word, granja word without local connotacion.

* Unit description: British truck: "Aunque va desprovisto" -> remove "va"

* Unit description: US Bazooka: "La bazuca" -> "El bazuca" (and IMHO better use "bazooka" - it is not necessary to translate a name and it sounds much better)

* Unit description: US Bazooka: "suele ser efectiva" -> "suele ser efectivo"

* Unit names: .30 and .50 US MGs: "Ametralladora [pesada] de calibre" -> "Ametralladora [pesada] del calibre"

* Ardennes campaign: force selection screen: .50 & .30 cal mg -> "idense" is written in yellow behind the unit description (?)

So, what's the status of the Spanish translation? Have the reported bugs been fixed? Should we continue looking for more? Is there any deadline?

We're in the process of fixing them - I think they're actually all done now. We'll be rolling out an update soon with all the fixes in the live version.

If you spot more issues feel free to report them, but probably best to wait till the new build is available.
