Questions about upcoming Mac version.

Will the Mac users be able to play against PC users in multiplayer?
Once the main conversion is done, will the Mac version get future version updates and expansions the same time as the PC version?
My main gaming buddy is a PC user so I really hope this is the case!
I'm really looking forward to playing this. I play ASL and this reminds me a lot of that without the really long playing times so this seems like something I could get in on a weeknight.

Well, the codebase is identical, so I am hoping that is the case. The only issue I have run into thusfar is some FPU rounding issues deep in the OS(X). But I am sure I shall defeat that without too much trouble. Currently I have the game running pretty much completely, bar the networking, so hopefully we can have the Mac version in people's hands within a couple of months, once we deal with the testing etc.
But don't quote me on it!
Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply! Glad to hear that the future compatibility shouldn't be a problem.
Good luck with the testing!

I'm a mac user if you need any beta testing. I have a new mac-mini, a 2 year old macbook pro, and a 1 year old macpro. so i could run it on 3 different machines.
if i can help let me know. i just bought the pc version few days ago and running it using parallels desktop on my mac pro.

Good to know, thanks for the offer. I'm not sure exactly what and when we will have a beta version, so keep your eyes peeled!
Cheers
