As a intercetption move is not allowed to cross an enemy ZOI I would play it like: ...move the intercepting unit up to its maximum interception move allowence or up to any enemy ZOI - whatever is shorter. (Sounds like DBM verbalization )
Is this correct like that?

Yes that is how it is done at that stage. We are likely to refine it a little with the next edition I suspect.
