Well...I'll try to post the details here and a screen shot. Not only did German partisans appear in Canada at the end of German turn 4, the US declares war on Germany because of Germany's invasion of Canada!!!
Details to come momentarily.

Poland wasn't captured until German turn 4. As the turn was ending, got a msg saying partisans appear in Germany (and I thought it also said, Russia).
Sure enough, one appeared in Canada:

And then in the German Turn 5:

So could it be capturing Poland after the Russians claim half?

Hi you need to get the Haettenschweiler font . it will reduce the print on the map and messages.

The US declaration of war seems to happen if the German partisan actually moves.

OK after trying to re-create the problem Blathergut had, with no luck i found out what the problem may be. It would seem there is a simple error with the
ownership-nationality with the hex, whos knows there may be more, from the few games i have played i havent saw this yet so, you kust must of been lucky i guess,

I found it and fixed it for the next version.
The problem is that the editor is not very user friendly and from time to time it registers changes to the map that's not intended. Those are very hard to see as well. I guess this happened when I changed the map in Spain / Portugal. I've probably hovered the mouse over the hex for too long with Germany as the active country. Then it set the core owner by mistake.
I've had this issue several times before and it's a big pain in the b*tt.
