betatester waxing enthusiastic

I have not been solicited for this opinion. I'm having so much fun playtesting this game that the enthusiasm spills over at times, and I just have to share it.

For anyone considering this game when it comes out, I can honestly say I haven't had this much fun playing a wargame in many years.

The sensible GUI;

the scope (and by that I mean not only the scale but the implementation of all aspects of the war);

the breadth (From the Eastern coast of the USA, throughout the Atlantic and sea passages around the Horn of Africa to the Suez and the Persian Gulf, from the Canary islands to beyond the Ural mountains, from Finland to Saudi Arabia);

modeling history, and playing out what-ifs

The ultimate WWII PC game to date, as far as I'm concerned.

I have to agree! I am loving the new interactions, and the rail lines add a lot of strategic considerations. You are correct about the scale and scope which make this a unique game. I am giving it my highest praise when I say I am as excited about this game as I am about "Road to Victory"!

Be very careful with your changes now guys. Be slow and easy, as changes could alter this wonderful flavor!

Favourable opinions from two gamers whose previous AARs I have relished.
Two big plusses, Wastelands.

Warming up the plastic as we speak. :wink:
