Mancetter scenario seems defective-affects LT Tournement

There appears to be a defect in this scenario. I was practicing in anticipation of the next round of the LT tourny and found that it appears that their is a problem with how the sides were designated. I think they got the two sides starting regions reversed. This results in my troops being at the top of the screen instead of the bottom, and they retreat in the wrong direction. This needs to be fixed.

Hi,
you can use the "R" key to get reverse and play the scenario like it is with a normal view. But they are still retreating in the wrong direction.

I agree, the routing units run INTO the enemies units. Obviously everyone will have the same problems, but the scenario has a design bug in it.

There is an optional 1.5.1 patch that fixes this. Just click check for updates.

Hi,
I've 1.5.1 (from the beginning) and the scenario is still the wrong one. At least in my case. Sorry.
Cheers

Does your opponent have 1.51? If not it coudl have come from them.

Other lack of quality in the scenario is that MF archer images are used for Roman HF impact foot and cavalry for the Roman LH commander. Does anyone at Slitherine play submitted scenarios before including them? The lack of quality on this one has been about enough to convince me to drop out of the tournament.

Was the Roman commander a LH? I didn't notice but that would explain why my opponent kept charging him and inflicting severe casualties. I agree that better quality control is needed if to be used in a tournament and this goes for the next scenario where we have a bunch of LH that all look the same whether superior or average and in fact some are actually cavalry. Very tedious having to always scroll the mouse over units to identify them and by the nature of the game players tend to forget the situation at hand if doing turns with breaks in between.
Cheers,
Steve

There was an updated version of the Parthian river crosssing scenario by Examimondas that corrected the LH for cavalry problem with RoR images but apparently Slitherine doesn't have that version and the links for it are no longer good.

I now have an updated version of the scenario that I plan to include in the 1.5.2 patch.
