I tried launching the game, got this message.
Guess that new version is really close to done?

I was going to go bug hunting again too. QQ

I changed the clock on my computer to one week ago, March 8th.
Program works again.

Although for some strange reason, I feel like I shouldn't have said anything about this at all.

Give us a few days guys, new Beta build is in the making.
A big new Beta build, with for the first time quite a lot graphical updates, will be released end of this week, we probably add another group of fifty testers at random out of the volunteer pool.
Intern we have been analysing Beta feedback, discussing more graphical eye-candy, adding extra game elements and building/balancing new scenario`s.

"Graphical eye-candy" was maybe not the best of phrases. "Improving the interface and unit graphics" might've been better. Gusington's already asking about it over at the Wargamer.

So far you have seen the game in a pretty bare-bone state, we will add now more and more with every build.
Everything that makes the game look better in the broadest possible way.

Now serious, as an example things like small animations, effects, better icons, some new art... polishing really as best as we can. Nothing essential for the gameplay, but the extra things that make it a cool looking game.

There are also some design features and graphics the testers have not seen yet... that add some extra flavour to the game. We will add more and more the coming tests.
Just give us some more days to finish a new Beta build...

Sounds promising. Personally I care less about how it's said and more about what it's being said about, which we shall see in a few days.

Haha I found a new bug even though the beta is supposedly expired. Take THAT!
I told you I was going bug hunting, expiration date be damned!

Thanks for your efforts, really appreciate it. In fact, expiration of the beta is a bug too. Each beta is supposed to expire after one month, so second beta should have expired end of March. But I forgot to change expiration date.

Oh you. You always know just what to say, your gf/significant other must be one happy person. lol Besides, bug reporting is as good as any reason to get my post count up and see what new avatars I get.

Seriously though now, I didn't even know the pre-mature expiration was a bug because it happened right after the public announcement that a new beta was coming out this week. I won't add it to the bug thread, but once the new beta is out, I'll flip my calendar ahead a month minus a day and check it just in case. If that prevents the program from launching, then I'll make it a formal bug report. :P

How's the new beta coming? Will we be able to take a look at it over the weekend, or have to wait till the end of the weekend? I have more bug reports, but I figured it can wait because maybe they've already been addressed. And maybe not. :P

I'll finish the beta over the weekend, but most likely we can put it online no earlier than on Monday. If you have more bug reports, please post them and then I might be able to include fixes in the build. The bugs already reported in the bug thread are fixed, except 17 which I still cannot reproduce. :(

We'll see what happens with #17 after the update, if it persists I have ideas for ways you can reproduce it. Nice to hear the other ones are all fixed, but too bad no new beta till the start of next week. Lastly, I've got one more to add to the bug thread since you asked.

Set your computer's clock back a week then launch the program.

Yes of course all beta testers will get new build as soon as it is put online. In the mean time, as Kerensky has suggested above, setting the date in the past will help.
