I have just summed PG's scenarios, and they add up almost to 40.
"Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps"
Won't the game be a bit too short?

It is true that there is a significantly less scenarios in the new release as compared to the original. What would be worse is if they are small maps with less units and short time limits. To me this was the main reason that Allied General never lived up to the original game. Havn't seen much in the screenshots to reassure me so far. heres hoping theres some real detailed and in depth strategic content in PzK.

Well we see Panzer Corps as a series really. And hope the first game sells well enough to complete our goal...
The first release is totally focused around the Axis campaigns and has 26 scenarios divided over several branched campaigns, and we probably add some nice expansions, maybe as an example a Panzer Corps: Africa... just brainstorming possible examples, this is no official statement!
Panzer Corps: Allied would logically focus around the Allied campaigns, than we would like to do a Panzer Corps: Pacific.
But at the moment we focus completely to get the first game out in the Panzer Corps series!

We're actualy combining some the PG scenarios into single scenarios. I don't think the total experience will be any shorter. Esp with the excellent MP system around this title shouldn't bore too quickly.

you convinced me - in fact keyed me up
are you planning to release a demo (eg one playable scenario) , just to appease the hunger of the fans?

We haven't really made a decision on that yet. Demo's can be tricky to do though, they must include enough to represent the gameplay and all the features throughout the whole game, but still be simple enough for new players to catch on. So it's not as simple as releasing the tutorial campaign as a demo (it's fairly boring compaired to what comes up in the real war campaign).

This would explain why i saw Southern Italy & most of the Balkans on one map. I like that
Will the linked Campaign be about the same(you guys must be tied of hearing PG haha)? That was all-ways cool with PG though, you had mutiple attempts to Capture Key Citys like Moscow, having dates like range from(41-42-43) with each date being much harder then the last to capture. I can remeber i was so(lucky) & swept though France & the Low Coutries real fast. Fast enough for a Major V & the oppuntiy to invade England. That kinda stuff(The anzwer is probably yes)
Cuz in my view
that was the strength of the game, While true 26 or so SEN. do seem a little short, even if the theres alot of units & turns, it was the solidness of the Campaign of loved, I,m am very much looking forward to this title. Untill then hello DOSBOX
