'Next unit" sequence

What is the optimal "next unit" sequence for PzC? Shall we order the units by class? By core/auxiliary? By locations on the map (how exactly)?

I prefer next position on the map as it is easier to follow.

No real opinion as it's a feature I don't use.
To be most usefull I would think "along the front" would make the most sense - but as the orientation (or even existance) of a continuous front varies from scenario to scenario I suppose top left->top right->bottom left->bottom right makes as much sense as anything?

I've been using this button constantly, but that mainly stems from a lack of a strategic map and the current insufficient visual indicators for unit states.
Normally though, it's not something I use/pay attention to. I guess start at hex 1,1, then down that column, then hex 2,1 and down that column, and so on.

Looks like we have a concensus on this one, only opinions about direction differ.
If we tie next unit sequence to map position, the units can get reordered in the course of the battle. Is it a problem for us or not?

I would have to say, I would prefer a system that finds the next 'closest unit', IE following the hexes column by column, over a system that is dictated by the order of my core, which can result in every click of the 'next' unit button to send me flying across the map. I mean, we can't re-order our core units, so all the tanks are arranged together, and personally I prefer to split up my armored units instead of massing them all together.
