It's not my area of expertise, but I believe you can just download the latest patch (1.5.1) and then enter your SaS serial directly into the game and you are done. Have you attempted this?
Cheers

Thanks Pip - that worked fine for me & much easier than downloading an expansion.

i bought the fog 1.33 and its works great
i added the storm of arrows ,that worked great
i added the swords and scimitars and as you are going into a game it crashes and i get a box about reporting the crash to microsoft
my virus detection is off,my drives are up to date, and i have tried numerous combinations of re running the games to my computer.but i just cannot get sas to work.as soon as i take sas out of the equation my game works great.i have updated to the latest fog version and it too crashes my computer with the same microsoft report box.
thanks for any help in this quest for glory...

Have you downloaded the patches since 1.33 - it's what I had to do when my PC crashed & I had to reinstall everything.

My suggestion would be to uninstall everything. Then install 1.33, then install the 1.5.1 update. Then add your serials for SoA and SaS directly to the game. Hopefully that should fix any issue you might be having.

What is the crash message you are getting? When exactly does it crash? If 1.33 works 1.5.1 shoudl work too.

i can start the game up,it goes to the battle menu[in both versions]
it allows me to select a battle from the battle menu
i select new game, as soon as i am going into the selected battle, and at about the time the battle is supposed to begin
the box pops up asking me whether i want to report error to microsoft [its the normal microsoft box] asking you if you want to report the error or not. at the time the error box pops up the game dissapears from the screen and you are left with the error box. i sometimes send the error to microsoft most of the time i ignore it and try reloading the games again.
thanks for the help....reyno

The error message might be useful - can you screenshot it and sendit? Can you detail your system specs.

Upload the picture to imageshack (you don't need to register to do this). When this has been done it presents you with about 10 different bits of code to enable you to link the picture into various forums, websites, etc. Copy the 4th one doen (Forum code) and then simply paste that code into your message (e.g. a reply to this) and it will display the image in the forum post.
Simples!

To get the image directly in the post (see below) you need to warp the URL (web address) with some forum commands. Image shack should give you this as an option just to copy and paste this (this was the 4th one down bit I referred to). However, just for reference I'll explain it below, the challenge is that I can't write it as it needs to be otherwise it will try to display an image and then you can't see the code!
Probably the easiest way is to copy the forum code from image shack, failing that then copy or type the URL, highlight it by dragging your mouse over it, then press the
URL button. This will put some forum commands around the file name so that it shows the picture. It'll look like {img}filename{/img}, where the curly brackets {} are actually square brackets [] and the filename is the URL (web address) of the file in imageshack.

You may also want to use the Click Here link to paste the technical info about the error.

It sems to suggest you have v1.4.0 here. Can you grab the 1.5.0 patch installer and aplly that and see if it helps?

thanks for the pic info morbio...
here are 2 more pics of the error message.
the first shows that the 1.5 patch doesn't work for me[ive lost count of the amount of times i have installed it.]
and the second is a very small portion on the tech info of the error message.if you look at the slider bar on the right of the error message,it has so much info in it, at least 47 modules??? plus endless lines of computer 'stuff' that i cant capture it all [it wont let me copy/paste],and i dont have a year to type it all in.
i appreciate the help, and dont worry if this is a lost cause,my feelings wont be hurt, ill chalk it up to experience and if i get another computer, ill try the game again then.
all the best...reyno
