Remember Europa Universalis??? The man who created that game was a french called Thibault (spell.?). He made the board game. Then he made "Pax Romana", a PC game full of bugs and good ideas, from what I read.

He's designing another PC game, called "Great invasions"

The game covers the fall of the Roman Empire and the following struggles till 1066 (Manzikert, I suppose. EDIT: Hastings  ). The community is tiny, but I'll give the game a try.

I'd like to try a demo first but it seems there is none. Does anyone have it if so what is it like?

Sorry, no demo. I don't know if it's has been released in UK/usa (I've got the spanish version...in english). The game is OK, it reminds me a lot of EU2, so if you're into that kind of game, you will like it. The problem is that it is unstable and it freezes (patch 1.03b)...regularly  . I haven't played more than 40/50 minutes and I still don't get the things right. I'll post my review ASAP in the PC games post.
