Islands of Lost Souls Campaign

Now that I'm alive & kicking again I'm looking to run a new campaign.

Using what was learnt from running the Lost World campaign this one will be a little simpler.

Each expansion for FoG has it's own island of players, i.e. RoR island will only contain players using an army from RoR. In addition there is Pangera Island which is a free for all, i.e. you can use any army from any expansion for your country. Players may run a country on one or more islands (island space permitting).

Island maps are the same simple grids used in LW but territory is not conquered. Instead you look to earn victory points by defeating others in battle (VPs also for how many men you kill so even loser can get points). Additionally with enough victories over the same player he becomes a vassal and may no longer attack you & pays annual tribute.
Winning battles is all important but you are not penalised for losing them (bad rule in LW). However beware as the more victories you win the more the men want to be paid & the coffers can soon empty!

Morale, tax, PR builds, random events & siege rules again but simplified. Number of turns between seasons will again be varied.

If you're interest please PM me for a slot stating your army / armies. Folder in FoG Campaign area coming once I have the rules typed up.

Only 3 takers so far TGM but to be far I hadn't realised there was so much on the go already. Just got SaS & LT myself. I don't know - you take a few months off & everything changes!

Once I post the rules (got half way way typing them last Sunday) it should pick up hopefully. If need be we'll just start with the Pangera free for all island & entice putters in that way.

Good to be back playing though - been over 4 months with virtually no wargaming at all.

Well, I'm glad you're feeling well enough to return as I'm sure everyone else is. I'm time limited for a few months, but will join then.
