If I have a problem uploading to sever what are the options?

I get the message that I can I exit the game, the turn will be discarded and the severer will mark that this turn has been retired. What does that mean and what is the best option if I don't want to lose the turn?

Do you retry the upload? Does this happen on every turn, or just infrequently? The next update improves on our handling of this, as it seems that the network subsystem times out way faster on some machines than others, and I think that might be what you are seeing.

This was the first time. Well I tried a second turn with another game and it happened too. In the first game I had a really good game turn and I tried repeatedly up loading it. The turn somehow got corrupted and went back to a previous state during the turn. Enemy tanks that I had already destroyed reappeared and my units were moved back. But it would NOT allow me to fire with those units that had destroyed the tanks.
I've been playing and using the severe flawlessly for the last three weeks. This is the absolute first time that I've had any problems.

I also had the same problem today in my first MP game. I think it was a timout problem, I clicked the send turn button, then I got some time thinking what to write to my opponent, and then I wasn't able to send my turn!

Apparently it was a false failure message on both game turns I tried to upload. The game turns actually uploaded ok the first time I tried but I got the message, which is posted in the first post of this thread, for both turns. I've since played another turn for both games and uploaded without problem. So I guess it was the confirmation back from the server that the turns uploaded correctly that was the issue.
