Repurchased game and attempted to reinstall. After downloading the updates, it got to 1.5, and came up with same error.

Your message indicates that you are missing a file
mini-full.png
For c:\program files\slitherine\field of glory\images\mapnonrotating
Can you clarify. Did you just buy the game and where did you buy it from?
Thanks
Keith

No, I've had the game and played it for ages. The "missing file" error only appeared after updating to 1.5. After doing so I couldn't find the .exe file and couldn't redownload from findmyorder.com as my order was too old. So I uninstalled and repurchased from plimus, and then reinstalled. The reinstalled copy (v.1.33) worked fine until I hit the update button. All of the updates went through except the last one (presumably 1.5) which gave me an error in the update download. After that I couldn't load the game, and it gave the same error that I originally posted. I'm guessing (although I don't know much about this stuff) that the update is deleting the missing file but failing to add the replacement.

Sorry you are having problems. A patch zip file will release later today. If you can grab that and try it it will hopefully resolve your problems.
If you have problems downloading a game from DR we will help you work out a way to get it so dont feel you need to repurchase the games.

uiplayer.terrain.MiniBackground.InitialiseShared
uiplayer.terrain.TiledMapBackground.InitialiseShared o XmlDocument
uiplayer.s.AncientsUI.Initialise o uiplayer.s.AncientsUI o uiplayer.htk.GraphicsArea o XmlDocument
uiplayer.UIImp.Initialise o uiplayer.UIImp o uiplayer.htk.GraphicsArea o uiplayer.EngineUI
uiplayer.s.AncientsUIFactory.uiCreate o uiplayer.UI o uiplayer.s.AncientsUIFactory o uiplayer.htk.GraphicsArea
gameinstance.Program.ThreadStart o gameinstance.Program

I have solved the problem by using system restore and and using the upgrade option again. Looks to be working fine now but will try the .exe file solution if there are any problems. Thanks.
