Wow, those are some nice freebies. Good way to get new players into multiplayer w/o having to buy an expansion to see if they even like it, as well.
Cheers!

Deeter should be very happy to see another Bosphoran list out there :D

I think there is a new Carthaginian army in the Field of Glory folder (the free DAG armies for anyone with just the base game). As far as I know, the Carthaginian armies in RoR and IF should still be the same as they were. I don't think there were any changes for those.

Hi Chris
Definitely not there.
I can play the existing games but all of the saved armies from that specific list will not now load.

Look in the new FoG folder, but don't get too excited. It looks like the regular MRR list except maybe with different allies. Only a masochist would try the new 3rd Punic War Carthage list, but the Hatrans have some cute stuff.

Sorry Chris - just read your reply in Tech Support.
Thank you.
I hope they will go back into RoR as well.

Bates and Triarius have a thread about this in the Tech area, apprently now that MRR is in the FOG folder you cant issue challenges with them just for the ROR book ... sure this will be fixed soon...

Try copying the saved armies from the RoR folder to the FoG folder under saved armies. I suspect that then they'll load. I had to do something similar when SoA first came out with my exisiting RoR armies.

Thanks Chris
Done it - armies load but I cannot accept the LoEG challenges.
I suppose I will need to post the challenge and ask opponent to ignore the fact it is not RoR only?

Sorry - I was wrong armies will not load - It appears that there is a change to the Carthage in Italy army list wrt quality and armour in some of the troop types.

Triarius is correct! The Hannibal in Italy list now only allows four Veteran spearman upgrades rather than all nine. This really porks that army list and is clearly an error. The devs must have gotten confused because this limitation only applies to the Hannibal in Africa list. In fact, the entire Italy list has been over-written by the Africa list. Just check the allowable allies for both.

I, for one, won't be using the Punys again until this is fixed which is too bad because Hannibal in Italy used to be my favorite non-pike army.

TGM: As for the new Bosporan list, it matters not because I haven't played against any Bosporans in ages. :D

That is something that surely will need to be adjusted - I can't say I am too impressed with the idea of the Medieval Irish or Medieval Swedish fighting in arid terrain.

It would be helpful if the release notes for 1.5 could be added to the Help Section.
