HaHaHaHa...the message header is a pun! How fun!

I've never played a war simulation before...so pardon the question.

I played the Tutorial mission, thinking I knew enough, and then started the English one- normal difficulty.

I won the first battle, but the second one confused me, and I got decimated.
1) Why do I have 2 victory symbols, and the French have none? What do the 'V's' connotate? Why 2 'V's', and not 3, or 1, or 0?
2) I assume, I have to protect these 'V's'- lose 'um, you're done. So...is this an offensive, or a defensive battle? Is there a way to tell?

Thanx!

You have to defend your Victory points to win the scenario.

If you find it hard try some of the farming missions - these are repeatable and generally easier so you can get your army more experienced before taking on the historical battles.

Farming missions??

What...where...how?? On the new game screen, there is Tutorial (easy), English campaign (normal), French campaign (hard), and Tale Of The Honporable Knight (hard).

On the quest map after starting the campaign there are 2 types of missions. Missions with a battle name and date are real historic missions with an intro video. Farming missions are everything else - each raid villages, towns etc. They are not requried to complete the game but unlock all sorts of bonus content and rewards. Some can be played multiple times.
