Hi
Any good techniques for removing figures that have been superglued to bases?
One of my Immortals is not properly in line with his colleagues and thought I could live with it at first but its been slowly driving me mad ever since.

We should know the surface first in order to help you. In general wood will jump with some sticks, metal will leave both surfaces ok and plastic might have mixed with the glue. I usually get a modelling knife and I go slowly surrounding the part fixed to the base, taking out little the glue by little. When I have enough room I use a modelling knife that is resistant (if too thin might break) and I get that in and use it as a lever. Usually the glue breaks like crystal and the miniature jumps around (if painted take care to put something soft where it can fall).
Good luck with that!

Superglue is easy, just twist the bases and it will crack.

I have heard that freezing will kill the superglue bond.

if base is wood or carton or any material that absorbs water put them in some water and let it absorb the water. Then take off the figs
