Forest Hex combat effects for Mech/Armour?

Hi - I'm a little unsure of how the forest -20 armour penalty works for mech and armour:

1) If an armour unit is defending in a forest hex, does it suffer a -20 penalty?
2) If an armour unit is attacking a non-armour unit in a forest hex from a clear hex, does the armour suffer a -20 penalty?
3) If an armour unit is attacking a non-armour unit in a forest hex from a forest hex, does the armour suffer a -20 penalty?
4) If an armour unit is attacking another armour unit in a forest hex from a clear hex, does only the defending armour suffer the -20 penalty, or do both?
5) If an armour unit is attacking another armour unit in a forest hex from a forest hex, does only the defending armour suffer the -20 penalty, or do both?

Also are mech units affected at all by the armour combat penalty in forest hexes? Thanks!

Hmmm... I guess this thread probably answers my question (assuming forest hexes work in the same basic way as city hexes for armour/mech: viewtopic.php?t=16123&highlight=mech+unit+penalty )
