Mag-Con 3.0 FOG Open Tournament - Houston, TX - April 2

MAG-Con 3.0 Field of Glory Open Tournament – April 2, 2011
Any armies from published FOG: AM books will be allowed. This will be an 800 point, 1 list tournament. List must be submitted to Christopher Anders at shadypage@att.net no later than midnight March 19th 2011. This tournament will cap at 12 players due to table availability so ONLY the first 12 players to submit a list will be accepted. Late lists automatically grant opponent choice of terrain from available choices and lists will be posted for all to see.

Rounds will be 3.5 hours plus 2D6+3 minutes of random time. Games will play to the end of phase when time is called.

Mag-Con 3.0 will be held at the:
New Caney High School
22500 Eagle Drive
New Caney, TX 77357

There is only space for the first 12 players that submit lists.
Preregistration Entry Fee $16.00 per player for the entire weekend of the convention or $20 at the door.

Check-in: 9:30 AM
Round 1: 10:00 AM until 1:45 PM
Round 2: 2:00 PM until 5:45 PM
Dinner Break: 6:00 PM
Round 3: 7:00 PM until 10:45 PM

Standard 25-0 scoring will be in effect. All FOG FAQ’s and Errata shall be in effect. Round one pairings will attempt to match out-of-towners versus in-towners where possible with subsequent rounds determined by score with players “Playing Up” to avoid re-matches.

1st place wins a boxed army
2nd place wins three painted battlegroups
3rd place wins two painted battlegroups

Refund: To ensure that players are not holding back, waiting on others to join a tourney, we offer a full refund i.e. if the tournament does not fill as expected and you do not care to participate in the rest of the convention, you get a full refund.

I will leave that to Gerald Dickens, who will referee, unless he asks me to do so. I would not post a R&R (or a derivation of one) until after SMACDOWN anyway.

I made a mistake on the earlier R&R. Matt Zajac had indeed initially submitted a Sassanid list. He subsequently changed it to Palmyran.
