I ordered the Cuirassiers with lance and command on Tuesday, they arrived today. The figures are nicve and clean, plenty of detail, on my workbench I have some Foundry ECW Cavalry and they are about the same size, the 1st Corps horses slightly shorter, but on the table top I will field units of both and they will look good together.

My only gripe with 1st Corps was that the pikemen were all holding thier pikes in the horizontal position, now they have released pikemen holding theirs verticaly. I have Redoubt, Warlord, Foundry, TAG, OG, Renegade, Perry, Essex and 1st Corps in my armies and they all sit well together in seperate units (Yes Renegade and Redoubt are more 28mm but they look fine) Anyway check out the new 1st Corps stuff, well worth looking at,

All go here today, the 1st Corps Cuirassiers finished, and the new Warlord Games Swedish Cavalry arrived. Basically the standard ECW Cav sprues with an extra ensign, Officer and six commanded shot in metal, together with continental style helmets. So with a mix of hats and helmets my pack of Parliamentary cavalry now have a purpose. The ensign is good and has his Standard hooked onto his right elbow, as per the Khurasan figures. The commanded shot are super and hopefully will be released seperately.
