Hi Tech Support,
I have just purchased FoG. When I click on the download link supplied by you(Slitherine), I receive this message:

Sorry you are having problems. Maybe the link has timed out - can you mail your order details to
info@slitherine.co.uk with a description of the problem and we'll get it sorted out ASAP.

Any joy?
I'd love to have a game after paying £30.00 for it!
Thanks

Hi,
This seems to be going from bad to worse! After clicking on the download link I was given a number of times and receiving the above "Forbibben Access" message. When I now click on it I have received this message:
Cannot download
This product is no longer available for download, this may be due to the maximum number of allowed attempts exceeded or the allotted time.
Please contact the manufacturer of the product for support.
...And I'll tell what makes me laugh, above this message there is a logo saying "Plimus takes charge". Hmm....they certainly do!
Any chance of my money back?
Thanks

I'm certain that we will be able to get you a new download link as soon as the office opens in the morning and they get your details from the email you sent. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Cheers

I think you aswent your details around 6:30 GMT which is 7:30 in Italy where the tech support is based so the office was shut. As Phil says they'll get back to you as soon as possible. We try to answer all mails within 1 business day.

I'm not surprised you're having problems - I've not been unable to download the so-called update.
My version doesn't have the auto-update but I can't get any help apart from - 'your are not in the main menu'.
I've installed it on a state of the art laptap and still no auto update - its time we took this to trading standards its
ridiculous.
extremely annoyed and frustrated with this product !!!

You may want to try down loading the 1.33 update from here
http://www.slitherine.com/files/fog/fie ... _1.3.3.exe if you're not seeing the in game update option.

There was a bug in the Plimus system which has been fixed so the forbidden file problem should be fixed.
Pbold, your issue is a very differnt one. You have an old version of the game without the autoupdater so you need to grab the patch linked to in the message above. Where id dyou get your version from as the one we deliver by download should already have the autoupdater included and yours is older for some reason.
