fragmented BG charged by 2 or more BG

Does it test -1 because he has more than one reason to test?

There is only one reason - charged whilst fragmented. So I would say no.

I might as well chip one in while I'm here. :)

I say no - I remember this from another thread some time ago.

I think,two reasons to test applies when you see friends break within 3MU and a friendly commander in line of command is killed with in 3MU.

The test is taken at the end of the relevant phase,rather than immediately,like when you lose a combat or fragged BG charged.

I would say yes.
I have to disagree with you on this one Phil - sorry - but I agree that it could be open to interpretation.

Multiple causes are listed on page 113, continued on page 114. Fragged troops being charged by multiple opponents is not listed here - that's why I don't think it's a multiple cause.

thats also my understanding of the rules. So "no" would be the good answer to my question in title . Subsequent question: if a BG sees two generals die or if it sees two BG breaking, does it test at -1, for more than one reason to test ?

Or a combination of those, yes.
