One really useful things about the companions

One thing that I have found a real help is the organisation of the companions - probably was the same with FoG:AM but T&T and CoE seem to have perfected it.

Best thing is that the text preceeds the list and has the troop notes seperate from the commentary. I have lost count of the number of questions thrown up by notes that could be history or could be list modifications in other rules set - those for Landsknecht Arquebus for example have delayed many a game of DBR, for example.

I like having the starter armies for almost all the lists. They are a strong selling point for getting people quickly into their first game - these are really helping FoG:R take off at my club.

Finally I like the allies being so clear. Not so much an issue in DBR but certainly so in DBM.

FoG:R seems to have gone to some effort to address some of the things that caused barriers to entry and understanding in prior rules sets. Thanks.
