Slitherine

Cheers to the folks at Slitherine for the work they put into this game. I'm very much enjoying the turn based multiplayer fights and think its a solidly constructed piece of software thats well worth the money. Considering the difficulties some major developers seem to have in producing a barely credible AI for there expensive RTS masterpieces, I'd say the scripted AI move was a brave and fair call in single player too. Theres is some good, old fashioned strategy here, where good tactics are generally rewarded (with a bit of luck of course) and suspect play is punished... caution or daring ?
I hope paratroopers and deployment features are considered if further development is planned as these features would really add to the title but I'm getting plenty out of it as it stands.
ps i think "Battlefield Academy, The Eastern Front" has a nice ring too it

We are definitely going to keep making updates as long as people want to play them, although if you check out the modding forum, you will see some awesome screenshots - someone beat us to the paratroopers

.... Pip ? They're not real paratroopers ... They're only dummies, about 3 feet in height, and say "Mummy" when you push their belly.

I think the community would prefer real men jumping out of planes ... and only Slitherine can make that happen!
