Hi,

I'm Leszek Lisowski from Wastelands Interactive.
I'm one of the people responsible for delivering you Time of Fury as a fun and playable product.

I'll try to spend as much time as possible at this forum, to tell you a little bit about the game and to answer your questions. Please keep in mind that I'm not able to answer some of them until the game will be released, but I'll do my best.

I would also like to invite you to participate in betatest, this is the best way to affect game development process. If you have some spare time, would like to play the game and improve it even more before it's official release, please register here: http://slitherine.com/beta_test/time_of_fury

Looking at the screenshots I was wondering if there will be an option to switch to Nato symbols for the unit counters? Thanks.

Of course,

We are going to prepare a couple of 'skins' both for units and for map, and you can choose any of them during the play. I think that the next official screenshots will be with counters, so you will see how does it looks.

Hi.
Game looks similar to Time of Wrath. Could you write if there will be some differences betwen thoes two titles? In first look it seems to be smaller scale of map if I remember correctly...

Hi Suprass,

Among many, many improvements and changes, let me tell you about two of them:
Changed naval system, which means that naval units has been moved on the main map, also there is a possibility to give them orders during the naval battle, which may, change the course of The Battle for Atlantic. Also the number of sea zones is somewhere around 200, so the war on see needs now much more planning.
Country specific settings, which rockets the game into completely new area of experience, now every country has been much more customized, for example, German tanks are faster and a little bit stronger than others, this allows to represents Blitzkrieg doctrine, Soviet infantry is much cheaper than others, which allows to recreate Human Wave doctrine. If we go even deeper into the details, German supply system is not so effective as average, and US is much more effective, cost of units can be different for different countries as some of them specialized in various types of weapons, also some units are trying to represent this specialization by increasing their strength, as early Polish motorized units that are representing cavalry, which has been very well developed in Poland.

And one more question :) . How You can describe game with two words- strategic with tactic elements, tactic with strategy elements or something between both.

I would say that Time of Fury is strategy with tactic elements of course if we consider only campaigns included.
With the scenario editor there is possibility to create scenarios even on battalion/company size.

You will be able to play as any country or any combination of countries, which means that you are able to play as Germany or Germany and Finland or UK an USRR or just set all countries to be controlled as human.

The really cool thing is you can set this up in multiplayer too so any player can control any side. This means you can play co-op vs the AI using the PBEM++ server system. I'm really looking forwards to that feature!
