What does the leadership points mean and do they help in battle?
Leader quality will increase the effectiveness of troops in range by 2 x quality over time. Increased effectiveness means that more soldiers fighter. For example, an effectiveness of 50% means only half of the unit fights; whereas an effectiveness of 90% means that 90% of the unit fights.slupanter wrote:What does the leadership points mean and do they help in battle?
BTW could someone remind me how the quality number relates to range e.g. does a leader with quality 5 have a range of 5 hexes to exert the effectiveness bonus? Thanks!rkr1958 wrote:Leader quality will increase the effectiveness of troops in range by 2 x quality over time. Increased effectiveness means that more soldiers fighter. Thank you!Stauffenberg wrote:In vanilla CeaW and GS v1.07 the range is always 8. In GS v2.00 the range is the quality - 2.
BTW that's a massive decrease in leadership range for GS v2.00, unless they've upped the leadership quality levels across the board...Stauffenberg wrote:In vanilla CeaW and GS v1.07 the range is always 8. In GS v2.00 the range is the quality - 2.
Oh okay, that makes quite alot of sense, then_Augustus_ wrote:The leadership quality seemed to be the same going by the table Stauffenberg posted into another thread. But the leaders are cheaper in 2.0. So you can buy more to cover the area needed.
