And an interesting bias towards the 17th century.
I wonder wether this is representative for the customer base, or just because WoR is longer available.

Thanks to Richard it was the first Usk I've done enjoyed it lots also well done to Richard and Alister I don'y know who came third but well done. Also to all the teams that me and conrad played great fun great games it was great since I got to play three new armies.

Just want to echo everyone else's thanks to Richard for a fantastic competition played in a great spirit. This was my first Usk and first FOGR competition - it will definitely not be my last of either!! I think the rules replicate the period really well and the spectacle of Pike and Shot armies moving forward in checkerboard supported by cavalry on the wings looks fantastic - captured the period feel spot on.
A special thanks to Jim and I's opponents (Bob and Ben, Richard and Patrick, Alistair and Paddy (make sure Alistair gives you something to do next time Paddy) and Dave and Conrad) for 4 great games, often decided right at the end and all nail-bitingly close right to the last dice rolls.
Despite lots of Pike and Shot armies, Alistair and Paddy deservedly won with an early pikeless Huguenot - I expect to see the Army pool chosen widen again very soon (and Huguenot's was my old Army of choice under Gush!)
Here's to next year and of course I can't wait to see this years results.

Yes, thanks to Richard and everyone we played. I'm up to 11 games now and they have all been great fun and played in a good spirit!

Why no Determined Horse? I would think this is a potential anecdote to some of the other moutend around.
I tend to be in the less artillery camp, why do you like the 2nd BG of Heavys?
No regimental guns? I tend to like these especially in the superior. You do not favor?
