Trade and Treachery Companion 2 - request for an FAQ

In a number of lists there is a line for Landsknecht Verlorne Haufen or similar. Each has Total bases as something like '0-1 BG per 2 Landsknechte pike BG'. However the relevant Landsknechte BG contain both pike and HW lines. (I am aware that the relevant special instructions make it clear that the HW in the Landsknechte BG and the Verlorne Haufen are mutually exclusive.) The meaning is quite clear if you apply some common sense but we are talking about wargamers here... Please have an FAQ item added making it clear what is meant.
The relevant lists are on pages 9, 15 and 17.

Please tell me you're taking the piss.
You cannot seriously say "... the relevant special instructions make it clear that the HW in the Landsknechte BG and the Verlorne Haufen are mutually exclusive." and then ask for a FAQ item.
Sorry, no way.

Nik
So be it.
You have greater faith in wargamers than I do.

I also have an odd liking for a question to be frequently asked before it appears in the FAQ

Fair point.
Lets hope that the FoGR players ask a better quality of question than we see in the FoG:AM forum time and time again.

So far seems there are less questions in this forum than in the FOG A/M forum..... perhaps that is a good sign??

Is this TT snobbery?
I am beginning to post quite a few questions in the FOGR area, would hate to think they are poor quality questions

Actually I had hoped the writers had been more clear than in FOG A/M with the rules as written.
Still the forums are a great place to get your questions answered so ask away, I have found a few misinterpretations on my own part from reading these.

Interesting. It may just be that FoG is expressed in a way that better matches how I think but I have found FoG to be the set of wargames rules that is most clearly expressed of all those I have ever read (and that is a lot of sets). In FoG:AM as well in FoG:R I have only come across one rule that I was not clear about the meaning of (different in each set). Any issues I have are not related to the clarity of the rules.

This!
In any serious rules debate, an appeal to "some common sense" is usually seen as admitting defeat. Debating rules is a sport that is totally independent from playing the actual game

Very quotable if shortened to "In the sport of rules debate, an appeal to common sense is usually an admission of defeat."
With regard to the volume of questions, FOGR benefits from FOG in having a base of clarifications as well as prudent pruning and refinement of the portion that carries over (which of course is mirrored in the greater refinement of the players, which late in the period approaches Enlightenment).

Feeling more enlightened already...... now if only I could feel luckier with my dice rolls

I'm sure you'd rather be enlightened than lucky.

Or less caring of the details.
