Seeking TCP/ip opponent GS v1.07

I'm looking for somebody from the US or Europe who wants to play during their late to very-late Friday and Saturday nights. This stipulation is caused by the fact that I live in Australia and tend to rise very early on my Saturday and Sunday mornings. During this time I have 3-4 hours of completely free time for wargaming. I also work a nine-day fortnight so every other week, on a rotating schedule I would have another morning free for combat.

My opponent would have to be the host since my ISP acts as a router and doesn't let me host anything. The preferred scenario would be 1941. I'll play either side. Send me a PM if you find these conditions suitable.

My skill level: Just good enough to find the AI boring but still time-consuming to beat. I've never really tried to end the war early, though.

I have MSN messenger for quick communication.

I'm afraid TCP/IP is not compatible with the GS expansion. The GS expansion was created and optimized specifically for PBEM or hotseat play. However; you can play it against the AI though no changes were made to improve or adapt AI play in the expansion.

So, the only version playable by tcp/ip is 1.12? Is 2.0 planned to make tcp/ip playable for tcp/ip?

There are no plans or effort to make GS compatible with TCP/IP play.
