Achievements not being saved

Hi,
I just got the game a few days ago and I'm loving. But for some reason after I finish a mission and go back to it, none of my achivements are saved. I've been trying to take my time and finish all of the achievements for each mission but what's the point if the game doesn't remember which ones I've already done? Any help is appreciated...
thanks

When you finish a battle it is considered done. To play it again and try to get all the achievements, you have to start without any and get them all.

Hmm - it should save the achivements as you go on. I would suggest deleting your .DAT and .ACH files inside the SAVES folder in your My Documents\My Games\BBCBA folder. Then see whether that helps. If it still doesn't save the achievements, then try deleting the whole SAVES folder.
Cheers

Depends on his question.
If it is not giving him the next battle in order, then delete the files.
If he wants it to keep 2 of 4 achievements so that he can replay and get the other 2, that doesn't happen as far as I know.

There is code there to try and do so, so if you're not seeing achivements being saved, then I will add it to the bug list

.

Junk is correct, I would like the game to remember if I completed 2 of 4 achievements for a battle, or 4 of 4, or whatever, just so I can go back later and try to accomplish any I've missed. The problem is not with battles not being given in order, as far as I can tell all battles are unlocked from the start.
Pip, currently I'm not seeing any achievements being saved. I'll complete a battle and get all of the achievements, but as soon as I go back to it in the mission select screen, it doesn't show that I've completed any - if there is code to do this, you may want to add it to the bug list. I'll try your suggestion tonight and let you know if it worked.
Thanks for your help!

I tried your suggestion and ended up deleting the whole "SAVES" folder and once I'd done so ran through both of the Tutorial missions (easy achievements). I got the achievement for both, but immediately went back into them and the achievements were not checked off anymore.
Obviously it doesn't prevent me from playing the game, but would be nice if this could get fixed.
Thanks again!

My idea would be to unlock the next mission if objective complete but move forward only if all achievements have been done. The way it is now, it don't save them/compare them to previous games and advance to the next battle in the campaign.
If I try to master for example the first mission of the Desert campaign and have previous unlocked/won all in the Desert Campaign when I finish the first battle it will not save my achievements and will them move on to the last battle of the Desert Campaign.
Would be a great feature for replaying battles if it would only proceed to the next mission automatically if all achievements have been done. If not next battle would be 'unlocked' and I can move to it or instead replay the battle where I had not been able to score all achievements.

I have fixed the issue on the force screen - everything was being saved, but the current state wasn't showing.
I don't think we would want to hold until all achievements were done, as by and large people want to progress more than complete them all, but I do have a task on my list to try and show achivements on the mission selection screens, and perhaps even on the campaign selection screen, to allow you to see your achivement progress.

Thanks Pip!
But you don't understand. Currently playing a battle and winning it, regardless if an achievement or all has been completed, will move on to the next battle. Just unlock and the people can use the right arrow to proceed. Guys like me could still play the battle until all achievements are done in one battle.
But now it would be just fine if I had done a complete campaign and replay it that when I finish a battle it would not jump to the last battle of the campaign.

I can see how (if you were trying to do a specific battle) having it zoom to the 'current' one would be annoying. I will add it to the bug list.

Version 1.5.1 Incompatibility?

I bought the Blitzkrieg France add-on, and subsequently have been getting screen messages regarding script differences when I play mp games with others. I assume this is because my version of BA is now indicated as 1.5.1 and my opponent is using an earlier version. Is that actually the case, and does it alter the way in which mp games play out? Can 1.5.1 be downloaded without buying the add-on?
Thanks

They are be identical. The MP system shouldn't allow you to play against anyone who hasn't updated. I've seen a post from one of your opponents about the same issue (if my memory isn't failing me) and so you might have a broken install in some way. I am assuming you haven't been tinkering with the main game missions, which would of course cause issues.
I'd suggest a reinstall to see whether that helps.

Further to this it looks like the Terrain file might have been changed? You should never change or tinker with files in the main install.
If you could open a new thread if we need to investigate further that would help a lot with my tracking this issue.
Thanks

Thanks Pip - sounds like you have this resolved. It's good to know that my achievements are still being tracked and my work isn't in vain. It will probably be some time before I actually circle around to try to get any achievements I missed so I think I'll be able to wait until the next update...
Thanks for all of your help and thanks again for making such an amazing game!
